Merrill Fire Department to Receive Annual Forest Fire Protection Grant

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department has announced they will be receiving their annual Wisconsin DNR Forest Fire Protection Grant. This year’s grant totals $2,348, and is designated for Personal Protection Equipment, training, and for the purchase of other tools and equipment. More information regarding the Forest Fire Protection Grant can be found on the Department of Natural Resources website at dnr.wisconsin.gov under aid/Forest Fire Protection.
